Police: Driver fails to yield to semi, killed in crash

TUSCOLA COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

One person is dead following a collision with a tractor-trailer in Tuscola County.

It happened Monday morning on M-81 in Ellington Township.

Tuscola County Sheriff Lee Teschendorf says that a vehicle had been driving south on Hurds Corner Road and failed to yield to a tractor-trailer traveling west on M81.

The driver of the car, whose identity has not been released, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
