Fire forces residents out of Brittany Manor Nursing Home

MIDLAND COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

A structure fire forces more than 100 people out of a nursing home.

It happened around 11 p.m. Friday at the Brittany Manor Nursing Home off Ashman Road in Midland County.

A rooftop heating and cooling unit caught fire causing staff and residents to evacuate.

Residents were temporarily relocated to other facilities in the area.

Restoration and clean up is under way.

No one was hurt.

The fire remains under investigation.
