SHIAWASSEE COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -
The Shiawassee County Sheriff's office is investigating a residential home invasion and robbery that took place just six hours ago.
The robbery happened on West M-21, just east of Baldwin road in Owosso Township.
Sheriff's deputies said initial reports indicate that a man approached the victim at his vehicle as he was preparing to leave for work. The suspect, who deputies say was armed with a pistol, demanded money from the victim. Investigators said a struggle ensued between the suspect and victim, during which the robber took cash and then fled on foot to the west.
Deputies said the victim received non-life threatening injuries during the struggle.
The robber being sought is described as a white man in his 20s with wavy brown hair and a very distinct pointed nose. At the time of the altercation, he was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.
