It's been five months since Alan Hutson Jr. was shot and killed on a friend's front porch in Saginaw.
Friday, family and friends honored the 20-year-old during the dedication of the Alan F. Hutson Jr. Computer Learning Center.
The center is located inside the headquarters of Parishioners on Patrol, a nonprofit organization.
Hutson was a member of the organization.
The dedication was attended by Buena Vista, Saginaw, and Michigan State police officers, as well as a representative from Gov. Rick Synder's office.
The center that bears the young man's name has 20 computers and is open to the public.
Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
