An assistant Wayne County medical examiner says an Allen park man whose dismembered corpse was dumped in a canal off the Detroit River was shot six times, including twice in the head.
Jeffrey Jentzen also testified Monday in Allen Park District Court that 42-year-old Chris Hall's fiancee, Danielle Greenway, had been shot once, apparently through the mouth, before her head, hands and legs were sawed off and dumped in the waterway.
Thirty-nine-year-old Roger Bowling is charged in the slayings and dismemberments of the suburban Detroit couple.
Torsos and body parts belonging to the couple were found July 17.
The 32-year-old Greenway and Hall had allowed Bowling to move into their home a few weeks earlier.
Defense lawyer Mark L. Brown says no eye-witness testimony links Bowling to the killings.
