SAGINAW TOWNSHIP, MI (WNEM) -
Fire crews were called to Bennigan's Grill & Tavern in Saginaw Township early Wednesday morning.
A witness reported seeing flames just after midnight at the restaurant located at 2095 Tittabawasee.
Fire officials say the fire was quickly contained and did not spread to other parts of the building. No one was injured.
The eatery opened as usual -- 11 a.m. Wednesday.
The general manager of Bennigans, Kelley White, said in a statement to TV5 that the fire was minor and that the company that runs the restaurant chain recently invested $350,000 into the eatery.
