GRAND BLANC TOWNSHIP, MI (WNEM) -
Police are currently holding a press conference Tuesday morning after two middle schools and a high school in Grand Blanc Township received a bomb threat.
Over the weekend, police were busy sweeping all the schools looking for anything suspicious inside the buildings.
Officials said they received an e-mail saying someone would place "bombs" at the schools.
The threat was sent last Tuesday, but officials didn't see it until last Thursday.
Despite the threat, officials said the schools will be open.
We'll continue to follow this story and bring you updates as they come into our newsroom.
