SVSU wide receiver named GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week - WNEM TV 5

Saginaw Valley State University wide receiver Jeff Janis has been named the GLIAC Offensive player of the week after a huge game in the Cardinal's win over Valdosta State.

The Tawas native registered 14 catches for 167 yards and three touchdowns to help SVSU to the victory.

Janis played in all 11 games last year, posting a team-high 968 receiving yards with a 20.2 yard average gain.

SVSU will return to action Saturday (Sept. 8) when they travel to Malone to play their 2012 GLIAC opener.
