City leaders to hold news conference on Milton Hall incident

SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -

City Manager Darnell Earley and Mayor Greg Branch, along with leaders of the Concerned Citizens of Saginaw Group, will hold a press conference on Friday, Sept. 7, at 9:00 a.m. on the front steps of City Hall.

City officials said the news conference will be to re-affirm and assure the community that the City of Saginaw is cooperating fully and doing everything within its power to facilitate the completion of the incident investigation and release of the findings for the July 1st shooting incident.

In a release to the medial, the city of Saginaw said it has been conducting additional internal investigations and review of the city's policies and procedures.

"The city's management and elected leadership is just as eager as the public to see the final conclusions from the investigation," said Earley. "It is our belief that the City of Saginaw is best served by a comprehensive internal investigation and a fully disclosed final report."
