Flint girl in serious condition after shooting

FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

Police are searching for the person or people involved in the shooting of a 14-year-old girl in Flint.

Right now, she is in serious condition at a local hospital, and police said the gun violence could be gang-related.

It happened last Wednesday night near a home on Maplewood and Bennett Avenue in Flint.

Neighbors said she was walking with a group of people when someone inside a car started shooting into the crowd, hitting the teen in the stomach.
