Midland Police department officers were called to the banks of the Tittabawassee River after a body was spotted in the river Sept. 8.
The man's body, identified by police as 75-year-old Frank Edward Panacek, of Midland, was found on Saturday evening.
After an investigation by the Midland Police department, along with an autopsy that was conducted on Monday morning, authorities said it was determined Panacek's cause of death was drowning.
The investigation revealed no signs of foul play. No further information was released by police.
