COMMERCE TOWNSHIP, MI (AP) -
Authorities say an 18-year-old has collapsed and died while playing basketball at a fitness club in southeastern Michigan.
The Detroit Free Press reports an autopsy was planned after Bryson Salem of Oakland County's Commerce Township was pronounced dead at a hospital on Tuesday.
He collapsed at the club in Commerce Township.
A television station in Detroit reports he was described as a healthy person.
Salem was a graduate of Walled Lake Western High School.
Isam Salem says his son was a freshman at the University of Detroit studying pre-dentistry.
