Balloon festival launches in Midland

MIDLAND, MI (WNEM) -

If you're lucky, you could see some hot air balloons flying through the sky Thursday.

It's part of the Remax Balloon Festival which kicks off today.

Hot air balloons will launch from Chippewassee Park in Midland starting at 6 p.m.

The festival continues all weekend long at the Midland County Fairgrounds with morning launches Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

There also will be some evening ballooning activities Friday and Saturday starting at 6 p.m.
