Missing kayaker found in Saginaw County

SAGINAW COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

A search party was sent out to look for a missing kayaker late Wednesday night in Saginaw County's Shiawassee Flats.

The Saginaw News reports that officers from the Department of Natural Resources began searching for the kayaker around 10 p.m. Wednesday.

Janet Murgittroyd, 69, of Alma, was found by searchers just before midnight.

She was in good condition.
