BELVIDERE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) -
Authorities in mid-Michigan say thieves stole a large number of firearms from a sporting goods store.
MLive.com and the Morning Sun of Mount Pleasant report the break-in occurred late Wednesday at the business in Montcalm County's Belvidere Township.
The sheriff's department is investigating.
Authorities say the thieves dropped a pistol while leaving the scene that may be useful in the investigation.
Investigators are seeking tips from the public in the case.
