The scene of the shooting on July 1.
A community forum is planned in Saginaw about the fatal shooting by police this summer of a mentally ill man in a parking lot.
The group Concerned Citizens of Saginaw says attendees Monday night are expected to include Michigan Congressman John Conyers, the House Judiciary Committee's ranking Democrat.
Witnesses to the July 1 shooting of Milton Hall also may attend.
The Saginaw County prosecutor last week announced that no charges would be filed against the Saginaw officers. They say Hall was shot after he refused to drop a knife while threatening police. Nearly 50 rounds were fired by six officers. An autopsy determined that Hall was shot 11 times.
Protests took place after the shooting and others are planned. Some say they're disappointed by the prosecutor's conclusion on charges.
