SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -
The fight for justice for a homeless man shot and killed by Saginaw police is headed to Washington.
Congressman John Conyers was in Saginaw Monday for a forum on the Milton Hall shooting.
Hall was shot and killed by Saginaw police on July 1.
Last week Saginaw County Prosecutor Mike Thomas said there wasn't enough credible evidence to file criminal charges against the six officers involved.
Monday night, Conyers listened as witnesses gave their account of what happened that day.
He says it was powerful enough to do something about it.
Conyers has invited former Saginaw Mayor Gary Loster to meet with the Congressional Black Caucus in Washington, D.C. to give testimony regarding the shooting.
