SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -

Firefighters battled two separate blazes in Saginaw overnight.

The first happened after 11 p.m. Monday at a home at the intersection of Williamson and Lowell Avenue.

The house was abandoned.

A few minutes later, firefighters were called to a fire at the corner of Fayette and Jackson Streets.

Crews said that house was also abandoned.

It's not clear what started either fire or if they were related.
