Midland County Commissioner passes away

MIDLAND, MI (WNEM) -

Friends and loved ones mourn a local public figure who lost his battle with lymphoma.

Midland County Commissioner Howard Schoenherr was 79-years-old.

He passed away at his home in Sanford on Monday morning.

Visitation for Mr. Schoenherr will be held Wednesday and Thursday at the Wilson Miller Funeral Home at 4210 North Saginaw Rd. in Midland.

A funeral liturgy is planned for Friday morning at 11 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church located at 2500 West River Rd. in Sanford.
