GENESEE COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

Two men are in jail after a wild pursuit in which police cars were rammed and shots were fired.

Amazingly, no one was injured!

The violence unfolded around 2 a.m. Saturday morning.

Flint Township police today told WNEM TV5 they responded to a burglar alarm at the Radio Shack on Miller Road.

The first officer on the scene saw a vehicle backed up to the rear door with the hatch open. He ordered a man in the vehicle out.

A second man exited the store, got into the vehicle and accelerated toward the officer, who then fired several rounds at him!

The suspect vehicle made it out onto Miller, and other cruisers quickly joined the chase.

While initial responding officer arrested the original suspect, the second suspect headed onto northbound I-75.

There, his vehicle went into a ditch, but he got it out and began ramming two township patrol cars.

He lost control again while trying to ram an officer's car just north of Corunna Road.

Police say the suspect's vehicle was stolen out of Flint.

No word at this hour on charges.
