SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -
This Friday, 7-Eleven will celebrate their caffeinated version of National Coffee Day.
CofFREE Day is being celebrated one day earlier this year by offering everyone a free large-size cup of hot coffee, or cappuccino, tea or latte, from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. local time while supplies last.
In a news release, 7-Eleven said it wants to invite everyone across the U.S. to kick off the weekend by making a morning stop at participating 7-Eleven stores.
As 7-Eleven is celebrating National Coffee Day by offering free coffee to customers, it will also offer a free vote in 7-Election, the unabashedly unscientific and "just-for-fun" poll for the next President of the United States.
Every four years, 7-Eleven unveils custom coffee cups for each presidential nominee and tracks customers' votes through purchases.
The 7-Eleven coffee poll has correctly mirrored the final national results in 2000, 2004 and 2008 elections.
