Fundraiser in Flint being held to help hungry

FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

The Food Bank of Eastern Michigan is holding its annual "Empty Bowls" fundraiser Thursday.

It's a chance to try soups and breads from more than 40 restaurants and bakeries and take home a crafted bowl.

The fundraiser is at the food bank at 2310 Lapeer Rd. in Flint.

Serving times are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 to 8 p.m.

The cost is $15.
