SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -
A teenager who shot a 12-year-old boy is headed to prison.
Trayveonn Jackson, 17, pleaded no contest to charges of assault with intent to murder for the shooting that happened in Saginaw.
In exchange for the plea, prosecutors will drop two charges and Jackson will get a lighter sentence.
Jackson will be sentenced Nov. 1.
The victim survived the shooting.
