The Romney/Ryan Presidential campaign says that award-winning, platinum-selling rocker Kid Rock will appear and introduce Congressman Paul Ryan at an upcoming rally near Detroit on Monday.
The rally will be held at Oakland University's Athletics Center O'rena in Rochester at 7:00 p.m. today.
Kid Rock, is a singer-songwriter, musician, multi-instrumentalist and rapper with five Grammy Award nominations.
The campaign said Kid Rock is one of many award-winning, platinum-selling artists from a variety of genres who are supporting the Romney/Ryan ticket by performing at events and rallies around the country.
In a news release, the Romney/Ryan team said numerous entertainers, including as "Soul Man" Sam Moore, patriot Lee Greenwood, Trace Adkins, Jo Dee Messina and more, have joined the campaign to bring Mitt Romney to the White House.
The musicians are spreading out across the country to appear and perform before huge crowds with Governor Romney, Congressman Ryan and Mrs. Ann Romney.
