Peanut butter fudge recall in effect

PETOSKEY, MI (WNEM) -

A recall involving some sugar-free peanut butter fudge.

Kilwin's Quality Confections in Petoskey is recalling its fudge because an ingredient used to make it is associated with a recall linked to 35 salmonella illnesses.

It affects the company's 7 oz. packages of the peanut butter fudge sold in it's stores between Oct. 1, 2011 and last Friday.

No illnesses have been reported.
