Anti-bullying seminar held for students at Dow Event Center

SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -

A crime prevention expert will be speaking to students at the True Lies school assembly at the Dow Event Center's Heritage Theater.

Bully expert and speaker Phil Chalmers will be talking about the problems students are facing in school with bullying, teen violence and substance abuse.

There were two assemblies Tuesday for ninth graders throughout Saginaw County at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

At 7 p.m. there will be a free concert with rapper L.G. Wise, and students and parents are encouraged to attend. TV5 has a reporter at the assembly and we'll have a full report tonight starting at 5 p.m.
