SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -
A man is facing decades behind bars after being convicted of trying to kill a police officer.
Patrick Calbert was sentenced in Saginaw Wednesday on numerous charges, including attempted murder.
That charge alone could keep Calbert in prison for 21 years.
It took a Saginaw jury about three hours to find Calbert guilty. The charges stemmed from a March traffic stop.
Prosecutors say Calbert was sitting on a gun, and reached for it during that traffic stop. There's no word on when he will be sentenced to prison time.
