A local teen who garnered national attention after being voted as the homecoming representative as a joke will be recognized in Lansing this week.
Whitney Kropp's family tells us she will be on the Senate floor and the House of Representatives for a tribute.
The Ogemaw Heights High School sophomore ended up attending the homecoming dance and received all sorts of community support.
