TUSCOLA COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -
Tuscola County Sheriff's deputies are investigating after several businesses were targeted by burglars early Thursday morning.
Authorities said the four burglaries were committed on businesses in Tuscola County. Two were in Unionville, one in Fairgrove and one in Reese.
Officials said the burglaries likely occurred between midnight and 4:30 a.m. In the Fairgrove complaint, which was reported at 2:43 a.m., authorities said a witness observed a white male with a blue stocking hat and glasses running from the scene. That suspect was about 6'2" tall.
Deputies said it appeared that in each instance, the suspects were looking for cash as no merchandise was reported as stolen. Officers also said they believe the incidents may be related to each other.
