The Saginaw Spirit couldn't get much going offensively and dropped a 3-1 decision to the Peterborough Petes on Saturday night.
The Petes outshot the Spirit 50-36.
Spirit goalie Nikita Serebryakov stopped 47 of the Pete's 50 shots, but it wasn't enough to register his first victory in a Spirit uniform.
The Spirit are 5-8-2-0 (12) and are in last-place in the Western Conference's West Division.
Saginaw returns home this weekend to the Dow Event Center as they'll host the Belleville Bulls on Saturday and the Sarnia Sting on Sunday.
