Alleged sex offender arrested in Mount Pleasant

MOUNT PLEASANT, MI (WNEM) -

A man allegedly wanted in Kalkaska County on 15 counts of first and third degree Criminal Sexual Contact was arrested and taken into custody in Mount Pleasant.

Police had a tip that the man was staying at a Mount Pleasant hotel.

Officers went to arrest the man but he was not at the hotel when police arrived.

Police found the suspect at a casino and took him into custody without incident.

He was turned over to the MSP Houghton Lake-Kalkaska Detachment.
