The season of giving just around the corner and one group wants you to keep our troops in mind.
Send Santa to the Troops is gearing up for their eighth year.
The organization sends donated care packages to soldiers stationed overseas for Christmas and Send Santa is hoping to ship 1,200 boxes this year.
In order to do it they need to raise about $20,000.
The first fundraiser is this Sunday as the Saginaw Spirit will celebrate Veterans Appreciation Night.
The puck will drop at 4 p.m.
