
Saint Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church.Police say they've arrested a 17-year-old boy believed responsible for breaking windows at a Catholic church in Bay City.
MLive.com reports (http://bit.ly/SxEDRB) the teen is charged with malicious destruction of personal property in excess of $20,000. It's a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
The teen was jailed pending a court hearing.
Authorities say objects were thrown at Saint Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church on Saturday morning. In all, 16 windows were damaged, two of which were stained glass.
Police also may be seeking a second young person in the case. They're asking for tips from the public.
