MOUNT PLEASANT, MI (WNEM) -
A funeral will be held for the local mother who was murdered inside her own home.
Rebekha Gay will be laid to rest Tuesday at the Homer United Methodist Church in Midland.
Visitation started at 11 a.m. and will be followed by the service at 1 p.m.
The church is located at 507 S. Homer Rd., just south of M-20.
Gay was killed on Halloween inside the home where she was currently living in Mount Pleasant.
Her body was dumped in a rural area near her home.
Police say her neighbor, 55-year-old John White confessed to the crime.
He's facing first-degree murder charges.
