SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -
Local officials are cracking down on stores that sell booze and cigarettes to minors.
The results are from a six-month sting operation that was executed by Saginaw County Sheriff Bill Federspiel.
During that time, 63 stores were cited for illegally selling alcohol and tobacco to underage buyers.
Deputies not only checked businesses but also worked to catch any minors in possession.
