The Michigan Lottery is reaching a milestone, turning 40 years old.
Officials say they will celebrate the anniversary Tuesday afternoon with a media event in Lansing.
Guests include the lottery's first chief and several other former commissioners.
Officials also plan to share highlights of the operation and discuss what lies ahead.
Lottery regional claim centers will also offer refreshments and anniversary tokens to players claiming prizes on that day.
