Glassbeam Inc., the leading provider of Big Data apps for machine data analytics, today announced the appointment of Jim Peck as VP Field Operations. Jim brings a wealth of experience to Glassbeam in both hardware and software sales, having spent the past 20 years selling enterprise software at companies like Vendavo, i2 Technologies and Vistaar.
"Jim is an experienced sales executive with over two decades in selling enterprise software at large companies and startups," said Puneet Pandit, CEO of Glassbeam. Prior to Glassbeam, Jim was at Vistaar, where he was responsible for building a sales team and growing revenues from the beginning with a focus on high tech and industrial manufacturing. Prior to Vistaar, Jim was at Vendavo, where he served as SVP of Sales. As SVP of Sales he scaled the sales organization to go from nothing to 20 million in annual revenue. Jim has also held sales executive roles at i2 Technologies, Savvion and Amdahl Corporation.
