Haasnoot Bruggen BV Integrates Sustainable Materials into its Manufactured Bridges through Partnership with Lamboo, Inc.

Haasnoot Bruggen BV and Lamboo, Inc. today announced the formation of a strategic partnership in an exterior grade series specifically for the installation of prefabricated pedestrian and cyclist bridges, drawbridges, and traffic bridges. The partnership will create an interest level to pursue the application of Lamboo Laminated Bamboo for transportation and installation of bridges and other architecturally related applications in Haasnoot Bruggen BV market.

This partnership will combine the international client base of Haasnoot Bruggen and Lamboo’s engineered bamboo durability and aesthetic quality. By collaborating with Lamboo®, Haasnoot Bruggen BV manufactured bridges will integrate this technologically innovative material into its applications that result in low energy consumption and strength. Bridges are an essential structure that must be designed in an efficient and sustainable manner to ensure longevity and optimal use of resources. Since 1962 Haasnoot Bruggen constructs and installs prefabricated, pedestrian and cyclist bridges, drawbridges and traffic bridges. Haasnoot Bruggen is contracted by municipalities, district water boards, architects, County Councils, private individuals, engineering agencies, contractors and project developers. When commissioned, the final project is completed by Haasnoot Bruggen, such as the drawings and calculations, execution of the pile driving works up to and including the transportation and installation of bridges.
