BAY CITY, MI (WNEM) -
Bay City is considering a plan to replace their aging water plant, and they are looking to their neighbors to help build one.
The existing plant is more than 30 years old, and some claim the city's water has a bad smell and taste.
The Bay City Commission met Wednesday to discuss a proposed $60 million plant to serve the entire county.
The operation of the plant, and how much all the cities and townships within the county would pay, has become a delicate negotiation.
The commission met behind closed doors and will meet with county officials Thursday.
