SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -
A Bridgeport man was able to live out a lifelong dream of dropping the first puck at a hockey game Wednesday night.
Rickey Kelly is suffering from cancer and was selected to drop the ceremonial first puck during the game between the Saginaw Spirit and Plymouth Whalers.
Kelly saw a great game, as the Spirit held on to win in a shootout, 8-7.
Adorned in his Spirit jersey, Kelly's smile was obvious as he dropped the puck during the face-off.
