DETROIT (AP) -
Chrysler is expected to provide more evidence that its recovery is in full swing and will provide details about plans to invest $238 million in three Michigan plants.
This move could add about 1,250 jobs to Michigan so it can increase production of engines and pickups.
Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne, Detroit Mayor Dave Bing, and UAW Vice President General Holiefield are all at the Mack Avenue Engine Plant in Detroit for the announcement.
Most jobs will be at the Warren truck plant which is looking to build more Ram pickups.
