One person jailed, another recovering after being stabbed 10 times

BAY CITY, MI (WNEM) -

One person is behind bars and another is recovering after a stabbing in Bay County.

The stabbing happened Sunday morning in Monitor Township.

Police say a fight broke out at a party and the victim was stabbed 10 times. State police say the man was hosting a party at the home and he was stabbed during a fight after he asked several people to leave. The wounds are non-life-threatening.

The suspect is awaiting charges in the Bay County jail. Names of those involved weren't immediately released.
