SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -
Phase 2 of the reconstruction of Michigan Avenue in Saginaw has been completed and the roadway will reopen to traffic Wednesday at 5 p.m.
The roadway was limited to just one lane of traffic from Court Street to Remington Street.
The project is not yet complete as Phases 3 and 4 will begin during the 2013 Construction season.
Stage 3 of the project will begin April 22, 2013 and includes Michigan Avenue from Remington Street to State Street (M-58).
Stage 4 of the project will be Catherine Street to State Street (M-58). Stage 4 will not begin until Stage 3 has been completed.
