Police are looking for a man who is accused of using a stolen debit card and investigators believe the man used the card to make multiple transactions over four days.
The Michigan State Police Tri-City Post is investigating the case. Troopers said the woman's card was stolen out of her purse while she was visiting a friend in the 3400 block of East Street in Saginaw. She left her purse inside her car and didn't realize the debit card was missing for several days.
Police said the suspect used the debit card to make a fraudulent banking transaction, then he stopped at a variety of businesses in Saginaw/Bridgeport.
Detectives were able to trace the suspect through the debit card transactions. A credit union and Speedway gas station had surveillance video.
"We're asking for assistance in further identifying him and his two passengers in his vehicle that were involved in the fraudulent ATM transactions," said Sgt. Sandra Allaven.
Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call the Michigan State Police Tri-City Post at 989-684-2234.
