The City of Saginaw will display a 14-foot red ribbon at the courthouse in support of World AIDS Day. The program aims to give residents a better understanding of HIV/AIDS.
The "Call to Action" program is Friday at noon in front of the Saginaw County Courthouse. The red ribbon represents the city's support in decreasing HIV rates and stigma. The ribbon will be on display through Dec. 3.
Health Delivery's Express Walk-In will provide free HIV testing Saturday from noon until 2 p.m.
Saginaw is encouraging residents to get involved on social media and take pictures of the red ribbon as they drive by the courthouse. Share your pictures via Facebook, Instagram and Twitter with #SaginawWAD2012.
