Meteorologist Catherine Bodak
SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -
While big amounts of snowfall are not expected with this recent precipitation moving through our area, our roadways are expected to become slick with the light snowfall.
"A cold front will drop across the area today, providing a chance for a light rain/snow mix," explained TV5 Meteorologist Catherine Bodak. "Watch out for a few slick spots on the roads."
Bodak said much of Mid-Michigan could expect this batch of precipitation to gradually diminish later this afternoon. A warm front will lift north Saturday, ushering in an unseasonably mild airmass that will persist through early next week.
"It doesn't take much snow to make our streets slippery," said Bodak. "So be careful if you plan on heading out this afternoon."
