BAY COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

The Bay County Sheriff's office responded to a two-car crash on Linwood Road, just east of I-75.

The crash happened Friday afternoon around 1 p.m. when one car was turning into Dore's Party Store and was struck by an oncoming car.

Authorities said one vehicle had three passengers in the car while the other had four, and all seven victims were transported to area hospitals. One of those passengers is a 1-year-old child. All are listed in stable condition.

The road was shut down for a short time while police, fire and ambulance crews cleared the scene and investigated.

Meanwhile, about an hour later, Michigan State Police were also called to a crash on Gera and Holland, east of Saginaw. That crash involved a pick-up truck and a Buick.

The driver of the pick-up was uninjured, but the two people in the Buick were taken to St. Mary's Hospital in critical condition. A photo from that crash scene shows the roof of the Buick peeled back.

We'll update this story with any new information we learn about the victims' conditions.

It's unknown if slick roads from today's light snowfall contributed to either crash.
