LANSING, MI (WNEM) -
State lawmakers could weigh in on a bill known as Kelsey's Law.
The bill would ban new drivers from using cell phones behind the wheel.
It was created after a Michigan teen Kelsey Raffaele died from a cell phone related car accident in 2010.
Lawmakers and safety groups are urging the house to pass the bill,which is scheduled to expire at the end of this month.
