Tickets are now available to hear former Army General Colin Powell speak at Central Michigan University.
The former U.S. Secretary of State will be the keynote speaker for CMU's Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Week.
The 65th Secretary of State was a professional soldier for 35 years and served in Vietnam, Invasion of Panama and the Persian Gulf wars. During his career, Powell earned the Bronze Star, Purple Heart and several Distinguished Service medals.
Powell is getting $125,000 for his appearance, but the tickets are free. The event will be on Jan. 24 at 8 p.m.
"Tickets Central" is the place to get tickets - it is open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
