Clarksville police charged a woman who they said had claimed she was raped before later revealing the statement was a lie.
Lynette Lee, 27, is accused of telling detectives she had been raped by a man she met through an online social site. She later said she made it all up because she did not enjoy their meeting.
The man she accused told police he and Lee had been involved in consensual sex after meeting through the website and had made plans to meet again.
After interviewing the man she accused, police followed up with Lee, when she then said she had not been raped - rather, the date was bad. She apologized and asked to drop the complaint, police said.
Lee is charged with filing a false report and was jailed on $2,000 bond.
